Beach Trainer Assessor Award

Beach Lifeguard Rescue

The Beach Trainer Assessor Award from the Royal Life Saving Society enables successful candidates to become trainers and assessors of students on the National Beach Lifeguard Qualification (NBLQ).

This course is for qualified, experienced beach lifeguards who have the physical ability and water knowledge to teach potential beach lifeguards. Candidates must be members of the RLSS.

Candidates will learn advanced beach lifeguard techniques, and best practice for the teaching and assessment of beach lifeguards. On successful completion candidates will become probationary RLSS Beach Trainer Assessors, allowing them to work as a trainer or assessor at lifeguard training centres in the UK.

The six day intensive training course can be held at various venues across the UK on dates to suit you, provided you have a group of four or more people. Alternatively, you could join one of our scheduled courses at the National Lifeguard Training Centre at Lusty Glaze Beach in Newquay, Cornwall.

2010 Dates: 8–13 March and 20–25 September
